Future Announcement

Hi. This is MJ Bailey, the creator and voice of The Oracle of Dusk. And if you have not finished the last season of the show I’d highly recommend you do that before listening to this announcement. So I’ll just give you a second to switch off if you need to. I want to say that consideration is why this announcement is a week late, but that was really work burnout.

Okay, so because you have listened to Season 5 you know that Delphi’s world has dramatically shifted, and so will the nature of the story. The Oracle of Dusk is going to transform into a full cast production with a novelization in the works. Which admittedly is a development I’ve been both excited for and dreading in equal measure entirely for financial reasons. I want to be able to pay voice actors and self publish the novelization in order to retain the rights to the story, but both things are going to cost money that I had hoped to have by now, but that hasn’t fully happened yet because of my cat’s medical bills and my own because all of the bronchitis related expenses added up pretty quick. 

Anyway, I’m asking for support that could just be telling your friends or family about this podcast. Sharing it and reviewing it definitely do help, and I appreciate everyone who does. But even that isn’t required by any means. However, in the show notes, you’ll find financial ways you can help the show as well. There is a Patreon that is being relaunched with new content starting next month, merchandise with more designs coming, and the show’s Ko Fi account for one time donations. 

One again, none of that is required. I am determined to make it work, and it’s going to be a matter of timing. There’s a part of me that just isn’t ready for this story to end, so I will do all that I can to keep it going, and I cannot thank you enough for sticking around this long.
